- 1 lb ground beef
- 1/4 cup South Your Mouth Hot Dog Chili Sauce
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of American cheese
- 1/2 cup diced onions
- 1/2 cup diced pickles
- Lettuce leaves
- Ketchup and mustard optional
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Set your grill or griddle on the stove to medium-high heat
Shape the ground beef into 4 burger patties that are all the same size
Add salt and pepper to each patty
Put the burger patties on a hot grill or griddle and cook for four to five minutes on each side, or until they're done the way you like them
Add a slice of American cheese to each patty and let it melt in the last minute of cooking
Toast the hamburger buns on the grill or in a toaster until they are just barely brown while the burgers are cooking
On the bottom half of each bun, spread South Your Mouth Hot Dog Chili Sauce
Put a lettuce leaf on top of the chili sauce, then a burger patty with cheese that's melted on top of that
Diced onions and pickles should be put on top of the burger
You can add ketchup and mustard to the top bun if you want to
To finish putting it together, put the top bun on top of the burger
With your favorite sides, serve the South Your Mouth Chili Cheese Burger hot
Enjoy your tasty chili cheeseburger that you made yourself!
